Inspired by the colors of the changing landscape.
Lead stained glass suncatcher carefully made out of individually cut brightly colored stained glass pieces that were joined by soldering lead came strips and framed in zinc for sturdiness.
Due to the nature of the glass used in creating these triangles, when hung in a sunny place or near a light source, they create colorful shadows.
Size Approximately 5" x 7"
|| ABOUT DEBBIE BEAN ||
Debbie Bean uses glass as a constant medium of exploration. She works predominantly in traditional leadwork and warm glass to create her dynamic line of decorative objects and functional home goods. Geometric architectural elements influence her designs resulting in colorful and unique handmade pieces. Her work is the embodiment of functional art, meant to be organic in nature and not perfect factory reproductions.
Debbie is a Los Angeles based artist living in the quiet Equestrian neighborhood of Shadow Hills with her husband and three lazy cats. They enjoy spending their evenings listening to the neighborhood peacocks from their front porch. Her days are spent in her home studio, listening to podcasts, burning incense and getting her hands dirty.
