Nina Saferstein and Alberto Flores Franco founded Thistle and Fig in 2020 with a deeply personal approach to creating candles.
Each collection features candles handcrafted from soy, or beeswax, with captivating designs. Committed to sustainability, all our products are made locally from responsibly sourced materials.
We design each of our collections with the intention of creating aromas that transcend the seasons, with reusable vessels, and minimal carbon footprint. Our candles are made locally in our Sacramento, California, studio.
A portion of our sales is regularly donated to nonprofit organizations across the United States fighting for racial equality, LGBTQIA+, immigrant rights, and organizations working to end homelessness.
