We support unrefined, cold-pressed plant butters/oils and steam distilled/cold pressed essential oils. We mindfully select ingredients based on their renewability, their skin benefiting qualities, the ethics of the supply chain, and the overall environmental impact.

We do not use any plant species that are vulnerable, threatened, endangered, or critically endangered like frankincense, rosewood or sandalwood (to name a few). We also do not use any synthetic fragrances, hydrogenated oils or pseudo-waxes (the by-product of absolute floral oils that are often extracted using petroleum solvents like hexane).
