|| ABOUT JALAMA ||
JALAMA pronounced Halama is the Chumash word for 'bundle' and the name of a beautiful piece of coastline in Santa Barbara County.
Jalama Design's founder Jenna Baucke spent a significant part of her childhood exploring Cojo-Jalama Ranch's 25,000 acres of undeveloped California coastline and cattle ranch. Jalama's pristine beaches and land have since been a place of inspiration for her.
All the natural dyes used for Jalama Design's products such as cochineal, fennel and eucalyptus grow on this land.
